hi

hi, it's me, meep . . .

i guess i don't need to say that anymore.

even tho Buzz started this bloggie, he said that it would make him furry happy if i kept writing in it. i thanked him 'cause i knew it was a pretty big deal for him to say that to me. my mom helped me change the profile so that now when i leave comments for other kitties, it will just say "meep". but i'm gonna keep the blog title the way it is 'cause Buzz would like that.

thank you all so furry much for all of your kind thoughts & purrayers. and thank you for all the nice things you said 'bout Buzz on your bloggies - my mom printed them out so that she can save them. sometimes when she reads them her eyes leak, but she's also smilin' so i think it means she's thinkin' nice things 'bout Buzz.

we're doin' okay . . . we're just real sad. my mom & my Jim took me to the dr last Thursday 'cause i was actin' like i didn't feel good. i even had to spend the day at the dr's spa 'cause she wanted me to pee in a cup. but i wouldn't pee - i held it all day! when my Jim & my mom came to pick me up, they got a special "collection kit" - it had funny plastic litter and a tiny eyedropper. it was lotza fun to see my mom using that eye dropper to "collect" pee from outta my litterbox ('cause you know that i went a whole lot as soon as i got home!) efurrything is good - even my anemia seems to be gone! Dr. Wendy said that i might be depressed 'cause i miss Buzz.

we had a snuggly family week-end - rented movies and i got lotza Whisker Lickin's. i know some kitties love Temp-tay-shuns, but they're hard for me to eat 'cause they're kinda crunchy. Whisker Lickin's has a kind that's soft for me to chew. after spending some time with my family, i started to feel a little better - i even played a little bit. but i do miss Buzz, and i know that my mom & my Jim do too.

Hi there, meep. What a nice way to remember your bro by leaving his name on the blog. I know it's still going to take some time but it seems you're all doing a little better.

Very good news about your anemia--and very amusing "collection" story!

it's good to hear from you, and your picture is furry cute! the Lady wants to pet your tummy. we're glad you're doing well, though of course you're gonna be sad. about the treats, Whisker Lickin's are good, but if you ever want a change try fishie flakes. YUM-MEE! we got a picture of 'em on our blog today cuz we did a taste test.

Hi Meep, I'm so glad you are going to continue to blog. William is right, leaving Buzz's name is a great way to remember how special your brother was to you.

Love the picture and Tommy was glad to find our you like to sleep on your back too. Peeing on demand is very hard glad you held out for your mom "collecting" it...she's probably pleased you wanted her to collect the pee rather than your vet.

It is funny to watch our mom's have to do all that extra work for us, but then again, they're STAFF!

Yay, Whisker Lickins! I'm an Aquariyums man, meself, but I'm gonna have to switch, since they don't seem to make'em anymore.

Meep, hang in there guy. I know exactly how you feel. My littermate sister Gracie went to The Bridge very suddenly at 6 years old and I missed her terribly 'cause it was just the 2 of us and we were together every day from birth.

When she was gone, I cried all the time and looked for her all over the house. Mom & Dad got very worried about me and after several weeks decided to get a kitten for me. That's how we got Tipper!

Maybe when you're ready you can help a kitten get a forever home?

Oh, dooooood...you are so lucky they didn't try to get pee from you the hard way! The Cat Who Came Before Me had to get pee taken every coupla weeks cause she had a very bad heart, and they got it by putting a NEEDLE through her tummy into her bladder! Anyway, I'm glad your anemia is gone, that's terrific news!

+1 on keeping Buzz's name on the blog. That's way cool :)

Hi Meep. It is really hard to lose your friend. My people had a woofer that died in February that had been with her for almost thirteen years. I didn't really know him because I was just watching from the woods, but when I got IN all his smells made me miss him.

After he went to the Bridge it was really hard for her to post. I had a really hard time getting her to even hook the computer back in so I could start blogging. But she finally did, five months after he left.

It takes time, I think. So I've bookmarked your blog and will keep checking back...
