an update

Hi everyone - it's Buzz & Meep's mom with a quick update . . .

It became clear over the week-end that Buzzy was not responding to his chemo program (he was on CHOP). We took him to the oncologist today and are going to try another type of protocol.

The doctor has assured us that Buzzy is not in pain, and that trying another type of treatment is very reasonable.

We are hoping and praying that this new treatment will work. As hard as it is, Jim & I have decided that this is the last protocol we will put poor Buzzy thru. We need to do what is right and fair for our little man.

On a happier note, Saturday was Buzzy's 6th "Gotchya Day"!

As always, thank you all so much for your continued thoughts & prayers. It helps so much to know that we are not alone.

My cat Rowdy is going through chemo treatments too. Thankfully she's responding well. I wish there was a way for us to talk and compare notes. I really hope that this new treatment helps Buzzy. We do love our kids, don't we?
