Happy Birthday JP Buzzerbee!
Today's my "Gotchya" Birthday - I adopted Jim & the girl 5 years ago today. I've never told them my real age; the girl wishes that she coulda known me as a kitten. I think that if she got me as a "Baby Buzz" she probably woulda hugged me so hard that she'd squish me.
Kitties can read the next paragraph, but it's really meant for your people . . .
I'm not gonna get too serious here, but I just wanna thank all of the people who have let a rescue or shelter kitty adopt them; 'specially some of us who are "kittens at heart" but not in age. So many of our bloggin' buddies have found "fur-ever homes" after scary lives on the streets, and even if we don't tell ya everday, we're very grateful.
Okay, I gotta go - need to remind Jim and the girl 'bout my present . . .

Well said, Buzz. I was adopted when I was 8, my mum didn't mind that I wasn't a kitten. What happened in Vegas? We've all been waiting forever to find out!
Oh Buzz...happy purrthday! We 3 are all adopted from shelters, but all as young kittens Mom says that's so she can spend as long as possible with us.
Happy Gotcha Day. We all are lucky to have beans who love us and gave us homes. Like youu mum didn't get me as a little kittie. So no baby pictures.
Happy Purrthday/Gotcha Day! Mom doesn't mind that we weren't kittens either, but she also wishes she could have known us when we were baby kitties.
Happy Purrfday Buzz!! Mooma got me (meeko) as a tiny kitten, but gotted Kiara when she wuz a little older. But, very well put.

Happy Gotcha Day! What wonderful words of wisdom.....I was 2 when I came to my forever home, Mittens was 6. Momma says she wishes she could have seen us as kittens....yes we WERE cute!!

Sasha, who came before me, was adopted from her mama and daddy's home when she was old enough. Lucky her!
And Suki, before her, was adopted from her own family when she was a baby, too.
But I was rescued from the streets, and I never got to be a little kitty for my mama. I think she loves me the bestest.
Hope you had a really happy birth/gotcha day! My humans were "holding out" for a kitten but then I showed up and now they don't know what they'd do without me. We are ALL lucky. -- Charlie

Happy gotca day/purrthday Buzzerbee. You're lookin awfully majestic in that picshur of you. We know zactly what you mean bout dopting kitties. Beau Beau was only 6 mos and I was Five when Mommy came to get me. She saw me in a dream and looked for me till she found me.

Happy Gotcha Day! The Mom rescued me but I was only six weeks old at the time. She gave a "guesstimate" as to when my birthday was and we just celebrate that every year. I just hope you got lots of treats and Stinky Goodness.
Happy Purrthday Buzz! I was adopted as a kitten mainly because my human pet believed the ladies at the adoption agency when they said I "was broken". Needless to say, her line now is, "I think they were broken, Zeusie-poo."
