it's been a year

Today it has been one year since we had to say goodbye to our little man Buzzy.

We take comfort knowing that he's at the Rainbow Bridge, free of pain and able to play with wonderful kitty friends, but we still miss him so much.

And knowing that little Meep would be lonely, we're pretty sure Buzzy helped Twizzler & Bear find their way into our home and hearts.

As hard as it is, we are trying not to be sad. Buzzy wouldn't want any saddness. He truly was the happiest being we've ever known. So today is about happy memories, with lots of stories that start with, "Hey, remember that time Buzzy . . . "

Wow a whole year. It's hard not to be sad. But think about all the great memories you had with Buzz. There were good times, and very good memories.

Purrs to you.

Man...a whole year...It's sad, but at the same time he was there to meet other kitties who have gone to the Bridge since. I like to imagine them all together, playing THoE and having Nip parties.

Very soft hugs to you on this day of remembrance. Buzzerbee was the first kitty we met that had gone to the rainbow bridge when we began blogging last year. My grandbean Cole drew a poster of the kitties and put Buzzerbee in it climbing the rainbow. it was precious and I have it on my blog if you want to do a search with Buzzerbees name you can see it I am sure. We are thinking about you and your life with him. Be comforted by wonderful memories...

We hope Buzzerbee is meeting up with our beloved Brendan, who left us last summer at 18 and my soul mate Fergus. We miss both of them every single day. Those of us who know the love of cats understand. There should be a heaven for all of us, cats and cat lovers together.
Ramona learned so much from Brendan and their love for each other. She brought an unexpected sweetness to his last year.

We had been thinking about Buzzy too - I think that stories and smiles is a great way to remember him today!
I know that he is one of the brightest star kitties at the Bridge.
Smooches to you!

Buzzerbee was a great purrrsonality. And it is lovely that you are getting on so well with Bear and Twizzler, Meep. It is over four years now since my sister Hattie went to the Bridge, maybe she is playing with Buzzerbee up there!
