i got the picture!

hi, it's me, meep . . .

i got some pictures of Mr. Squirrel! (Buzz helped me a little bit.) now i know why it seems like Mr. Squirrel can be in two places at the same time - there's more than one of him! turns out, Buzz already knew this, and he also knows both of their names . . .

this one is White Tummy. our mom likes to watch him open peanuts, so Jim put up this special feeder. the lid didn't come bent-up like that; Buzz says that one nite a racoon got hungry and helped himself.

this one is Short Tail 'cause his tail is kinda short for a squirrel. i think he is my mom's favorite 'cause he gets very close to her when she's putting food in the feeders. sometimes he comes up the stairs on our deck and looks in the door. and we had a small pumpkin on the deck railing last week - well this guy threw it at the house. turns out my mom had been kinda lazy 'bout filling the feeders; he was just lettin' her know that he was hungry, i guess.

well, that's 'bout it for my nature photographs . . . have a nice week-end efurrybuddy - stay warm & dry!

We have 3 or 4 of them things too. But mum doesn't like them since they get into the birdie feed and eats feed meant for the birdies. Plus they chews on stuff and wrecks it.

Those are cute squirrels you have for friends. I had to laugh at the one who threw the pumpkin at the house. Did he eat any of it? I never see any squirrels around my house, but some chipmunks live in the nearby canyon.

They look like very nice squirrels. They must be fun to watch. I haven't seen any in our yard yet. Maybe I should get the humans to leave some food out.

Ooooo ... Your squirrellies look like Feline American Percy! Mom's 'fraid of squirrellies because one came up behind her and stole her 'tato chips when she was on a picnic (Moms can be big chickens, ya know?). Our Uncle Jerry has squirrellie feeders at his tree house in Washington ... They like peanuts there, too!

According to Dad, we've got one of these that'll visit our deck, but when he calls us to come look the guy goes the other way. But we're watch, just in case he comes back. Great pics!

What a neato picture! My Momma used to feed the squirrels in a feeder but after the raccoons ripped apart the 4th feeder my Momma just started tossing the peanuts on the patio. Those same raccoons are eating up the cat food that Momma puts out for the few strays that come by. She brings in the food at night but puts it out in the morning when it's still dark before she leaves for work & the thieves come back!

The squirrels run around the back patio even with the cats around -- nobody messes with anyone. Nifty, huh?

Whoa! Squirrels!!! I chase them, Chase them chase them chase! But I never catch them, just chase them 'til they run up a tree and then I sit below them, waiting for them to run down so I can chase them some more, but usually they just sit way up in the tree and yell at me!
